MGM S.p.A. launched in 1996 the HYPNO innovative and patented concept: the first detachable inline skate.
Very active in the previous years as producer of inline skates and skateboards wheels, M.G.M. S.p.A. started its adventures in the inline skates industry. In 1998, an agreement with FILA was reached to produce under licence a new line of Inline skates branded with the famous Italian Brand.
MGM is actually one of the primary players in the inline skate industry.

A part from the detachable segment, where Hypno is market leader since years, Fila Skates took leading position in several countries on the high performance and racing segments. Introduction of several patents lead Fila skates to a leading position in the worldwide Inline skate market.
